"Patients commonly report difficulty kneeling after total knee arthroplasty (TKA). The purpose of this study was to retrospectively assess patients' ability to kneel after TKA and to prospectively determine whether patients with reported difficulty can be taught to kneel." J Arthroplasty. 2019 May;34(5):898-900. doi: 10.1016/j.arth.2019.01.047.Epub 2019 Jan 29. This study showed that when patients struggled with kneeling and then participated in post operative rehabilitation, they were able to kneel on the knee they had replaced.
